Call for papers
Submission September 16th 2019
We invite proposals on topics that explore questions around professional identity in language teaching from multiple perspectives; consider, but do not limit yourself to:
- The value of the non-native speaker teacher.
- The ‘craft’ of the language teacher.
- The teacher as a language expert.
- The teacher as researcher/the teacher as innovator.
- The practice and experiences of non-specialist English teachers in public schools
- Bilingual schools and English as Medium of Instruction (EMI): should every teacher be a language teacher?
- The ‘other’ foreign languages: how to survive in a sea of English?
- Language teachers and social justice.
- English as a Lingua Franca (ELF) and its implications for teacher identity.
- Teaching and Learning Languages for Global Citizenship.
Submissions are welcome for presentations, workshops, posters or good practices/ professional successful experiences.
