A Web based Plataform for a New Telerehabilitation Model under Community-Based in Rural Areas

This article shows the application of a new rehabilitation model under the community-based rehabilitation model (rehabilitation CBR approach) developed in 2010 and applied at the following locations: Hospital Local de Candelaria, Hospital San Roque and Hospital Benjamín Barney Gasca, located respectively in the municipalities of Candelaria, Florida and Pradera (Valle del Cauca, Colombia), geographic area with big presence of vulnerable population. As fundamental aspect referred to model of rehabilitation to develop an adaptation with focus on RBC will be implemented through the use of Information Technology and Communications (ICT). Its new scenario of Telehealth integrated communications, care and education training.
