¿Hay un infiel en la relación triangular de China, Estados Unidos y Venezuela?

Estados Unidos ha atribuido a Venezuela, de manera recurrente, algo parecido a deslealtad, debido a su relación con China; mientras que China ha sido acusada de alterar las reglas del juego en la región, especialmente en países democráticamente débiles como Venezuela. En este contexto de escalada de acusaciones, más allá de lo coloquial y de paralelismos al referirse a si Venezuela ha sido infiel a su relación tradicional con Estados Unidos, el presente artículo argumenta que las relaciones entre China, Estados Unidos y Venezuela son triangulares. Por ello, una pregunta central que debe abordarse es si la presencia del país asiático en Venezuela tiene implicaciones económicas y políticas para las relaciones entre este último y Estados Unidos. Desde una perspectiva comparada y de las relaciones triangulares, se analiza la formación de esta relación y su desarrollo en el campo económico y político-diplomático.
