About the Journal

Aims and Scope

The Revista CS has as its main objective the dissemination of social sciences and humanities research on contemporary and historical problems in Latin America and the Caribbean. The Rev.CS is an open-access two blind peer-reviewed publication and it is published every four months. It was created in 2007 and it is funded by the School of Human Sciences of Icesi University (Colombia). The journal publishes research and review articles, case reports, and book reviews in the fields of anthropology, sociology, political science, psychology, history, communication sciences, and literary studies. It is intended for national and international researchers and students interested in Latin American studies with local, national, and global perspectives. The journal publishes articles in Spanish, English, and Portuguese.

Sections

Presentation: It informs about the content of the issue and emphasizes aspects related to the subjects treated.

Articles: It collects revision and research articles, as well as case reports and reflection articles non-derived from research. 

Other Subjects: It is a section included in thematic issues to differentiate the articles related to the specific subject from those on other subjects.

Documents: It disseminates interviews, transcriptions, statements, and relevant documents in the social sciences and the humanities.

Reviews: preferably of books published in the last five years.
