Dinâmica de sucesso do crowdfunding não financeiro em um contexto emergente: o caso da Colômbia

Resumo

O objetivo desta pesquisa foi analisar os fatores associados ao sucesso de campanhas de crowdfunding não financeiro em economias emergentes, por meio do estudo de 372 projetos publicados entre 2012 e 2017 em cinco plataformas colombianas. Utilizou-se um modelo de regressão linear múltipla generalizada e um modelo de regressão logística para avaliar a variável dependente, tanto do ponto de vista quantitativo quanto qualitativo. As características dos projetos avaliados foram incluídas como variáveis explicativas. Os resultados mostram que a plataforma utilizada, a localização do criador, o número de financiadores e atualizações são fatores associados ao sucesso. Especificamente, em contextos com pouco desenvolvimento de tecnologias de financiamento, o papel da plataforma como intermediário entre o criador e o financiador é muito importante.
