Resumo

O artigo investiga os fatores e condições que incidem na constituição de firmas internacionalizadas criadas na Colômbia e como elas podem garantir o seu sucesso dentro desse mercado. Para isso é usado um “Modelo de Relação Causal”, o Software AMOS 16, e os dados da pesquisa de GEM Colômbia sobre empresas que relataram processos de exportação durante os primeiros anos após sua fundação. Este estudo revela que os seguintes fatores estão associados com empresas “Born Global”: condições de mercado ou ambientais, perfil do fundador, e os fatores internos da empresa. É dada ênfase a esse último item como um fator chave na criação e consolidação desse tipo de empresas.
