La cooperación internacional en la internacionalización de pequeñas y medianas empresas de Medellín: un estudio de caso comparado

Resumo

El objetivo de este documento es evidenciar la contribución de los programas de cooperación internacional en la internacionalización de pymes de Medellín. Para ello se desarrolla una metodología cualitativaa través de un estudio de caso múltiple de 4 empresas que participaron en programas de cooperacióninternacional, cuyo proceso de internacionalización fue evaluado desde el modelo Uppsala. Los resultadosreflejan que los programas contribuyen a la etapa inicial del proceso de internacionalización. Como conclusión se plantea que, independientemente de la ayuda, la internacionalización dependerá de la maneracomo las empresas hagan uso de su conocimiento experimental y desarrollen un modelo de construcciónde confianza y de redes comerciales.
