Resumo

O objetivo dessa investigação ex­ploratória foi identificar os fatores que influenciam a visão patrimonial das empresas familiares colombia­nas, ou seja, o propósito que tem o patrimônio nas famílias. O modelo de investigação inicial estabeleceu teoricamente que existiam diferentes misturas desses fatores que influen­ciam a visão do patrimônio. Uma pesquisa estruturada foi aplicada a 32 empresas de diferentes tamanhos, gerações e setores. Foi realizada uma análise fatorial e de regressão linear múltipla que indicou uma influên­cia de 1) percentual de diretores da família (fator familiar), 2) o número total de membros da família (fator familiar) e 3) da rentabilidade sobre o patrimônio (fator riqueza).
