Keywords:
Legislation, Dismissals, Dynamic panel dataAbstract
This article discusses the dynamics of several unfair dismissal cases of workers who filed a claim with Spanish courts and won their cases during the period from 1997 to 2002. The results show that the workers´ success in these dismissal related lawsuits lies in the fact that judges are predisposed to rule in favor of workers who have been unemployed or on a strike for a long period of time.
