• Added references to the description field of the DESCRIPTION file.
  
• Removed the use of ::: even in internal documentation.
  
• Replaced \dontrun{} with try() for examples that intentionally generate errors.
  
• Substituted options(warn = -1) with suppressWarnings() in the automated tests.
